The Devil's Beef Tub

About 5 miles north of Moffatt sits the Devil's Beef Tub. Spectacular, dramatic views! There's quite the history with the Beef Tub. Called that because notorious Border raiders would steal cattle and hide them here in it's cavernous hollow. It's also thought that William Wallace gathered men here for his first attack on the English in 1297. Read about it HERE

We drove up here before going on into Moffatt to show me the spectacular views!
