Ready to Roll!

17 more months and Bossman plans to retire! So we got this...

made by Coachmen

We did a trial run camp last weekend and it is wonderful! I love it.

Has a 'bedroom' in the front with a queen bed and bunks in the back, the bottom one is a 3/4 size

The living area is very comfortable too. The dining table and the couch make into beds.

bathroom at the back. small tub, shower, commode and sink

Bedroom behind the couch wall
Looking forward to traveling in comfort! Bossman wants to drive to Alaska!  Just so the campgrounds have wifi!

  1. Those 17 months will go in a flash. Your trailer/caravan looks huge and stylish, you're going to have great fun in that. I hope he doesn't want to drive on wee twisty roads though, especially if they have a 'drop' on one side!

  2. So exciting!! It must have been hard to come back from the "trial run"... any more scheduled for this summer? I agree that the 17 months will pass quickly.

    1. Probably only a couple tomes this summer, JoAnn. Already have reservations in Maine in a cottage. I can't go too much as my mom is very frail and I'm it. My brother is handicap. We will go while the grandkids are here though.

    2. Oh, lucky you! Haven't been to Maine in a couple of years, but we LOVE it. You're fortunate to have family available to help at home.

    3. I don't have family to help JoAnn, we are taking the grandkids with us. I do have caregivers coming through the week but on the weekends she is alone from noon on and thats too long. I have to hire someone to come in more hours on the weekend when we go away. Somedays I wish I had a sister!

  3. Hope you enjoy your new Coachmen! My husband and I own a Coachmen travel trailer and have made some wonderful memories traveling with our children over the years. It has also been a wonderful guest house:) My dad owned a dealership while I was growing up and sold Coachmen RV's.

  5. That is exciting. We had a small camper that we took to Maine a few times. It was one of the kind you drive, not pull along behind. Yours is much larger. I like that you can take all the comforts of home with you wherever you go and that that you always have a nice place to stay. Have fun with it!

    1. Thanks, Joan. I told my husband I prefer to travel this way because then we have our own dirt, not somebody else's and he said dirt is dirt. I told him no, our dirt isn't as dirty. He told me he guesses I have a point:) Silly old me! We also said we could get a seasonal spot in a campground in Maine and spend the whole summer there! Woo hoo! I think we should buy some ground there and set it up!
