My New Ride!

I'm as excited as a kid with, well, a new bike!

Probably won't be able to walk for a week as I haven't been on one in a few years though! Off to Lake Erie tomorrow to torture my legs! There's a 13.5 mile bike loop around the peninsula.

  1. What a lovely bike! That's a very ambitious ride you have planned for tomorrow! Have a great time! My bike (made the same year I was born) sits in the cellar with two very flat tires. I'm afraid to ride the streets of Philadelphia, even with bike lanes.

    1. Joan, I would be afraid too, to ride in Philly! As it turned out we did not go to Erie. The beaches were closed for sand reclamation and Dave decided not to go up for one night camping and no beaches. We were going to ride a trail here close to home today but it is 91 degrees and very humid. Not to mention my legs are so out of shape I am going to have to ride everyday around the neighborhood some before I go off on a long ride! So no long ride yet, but that's my goal! Something honey and I can do together.

  2. Love the colour of your bike Peggy Ann. Re your question re the harbour bridge pic - no it's not a trailer broken down - that's the machine that trundles along moving the lane barriers one over in the middle of the day! Cheers

    1. That is so cool, the barrier mover I mean! I have never heard of such a thing. here we have arrow lights red or green they use when changing a lane.
